Sod Poodles Home Stand- Special Guest Troy Aikman

The Sod Poodles' homestand had some great highlights and some amazing fan experience moments. The Sod Poodles finish the home stand against the Frisco Roughriders going 3-3 with some very tough and hard fought wins.

Last Thursday, Amarillo's Hodgetown stadium welcomed a special guest - legendary Cowboys quarterback, Troy Aikman. Aikman was in town to promote his latest venture, EIGHT Elite Light Lager, and has been traveling across the state to introduce it to fans. He threw out the first pitch and even served beer to fans from Bar 352 during the game.

Despite the excitement of Aikman's visit, the Sod Poodles fell 5-1 to Frisco, with the only run coming from a lead-off home run by Ryan Bliss in the first inning. Frisco's Jax Biggers' grand slam in the sixth inning sealed the deal. This was the first loss of the series for the Sod Poodles, but they still lead the current series 2-1 and season series 4-2 over Frisco.

Aikman expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome he received from fans in Amarillo and other locations. "It's been amazing, honestly. It really is. I don't underemphasize that," he said. "To be remembered and for those teams to still be well thought of, it means a lot."

Amarillo Parade Of Homes

The Amarillo Parade of Homes is an annual event that provides attendees the opportunity to tour some of the most beautiful and innovative homes in the area. The event showcases homes built by some of the top builders in the community, and it's a great opportunity for individuals to get inspiration for their own home design or to see what's new and trending in the world of home design.

This year's Parade of Homes is being held over two weekends, beginning on Thursday, April 27th, 2023, and ending on Sunday, May 7th, 2023. The event features homes that have been specifically designed and constructed for the event, and it's an excellent opportunity to see the latest trends in interior design and architecture.

The Parade of Homes will take place on the following days and times:
